Flesherton is home to many art galleries, craft studios, antique stores, unique eateries and interesting historic architecture. The area is known for cross-country and downhill skiing, fishing, mountain biking and road cycling. The Beaver Valley, Saugeen River and Eugenia Falls are all local natural features. We are steps from the Bruce Trail and even have two unique hiking areas right in the village – see Hiking and Walking .

“Flashtown” NEWS

Wild Flower Walk! The Walking Village Initiative & Grey Sauble Conservation invite you to a Guided Walk identifying Trees, Ferns & Flowers in the newly blazed Flesherton Forest Sunday September 12, 2pm. FREE. All welcome. We’ll meet at the entrance to the trail - end of Highland Dr, past the Arena. Sponsored by the Flesherton & District Chamber of Commerce.

Flesherton’s recent battle for the best Grilled Cheese Sandwich saw The Bakery win bragging rights over Donabie’s and Leslieville Cheese Market. Congratulations to all the cheesy contenders!

The next meeting of the Flesherton & District Chamber of Commerce is Wednesday September 8, 7:30pm in the Millennium Room of the Flesherton Public Library. This is the first meeting since the summer break and the Agenda will be full! All are welcome. Monday October 25, 2010 is Voting Day for the Grey Highlands Municipal Election. The Flesherton & District Chamber of Commerce is planning to hold a MEET the CANDIDATES evening. Stay tuned for time and location.
